Norka M. Schell is a knowledgeable driven, dedicated, and conscientious attorney and advocate.

Ms. Schell focuses her practice in the areas of immigration, matrimonial, and family law. Ms. Schell has significant experience in advising families and couples in a range of matters, including child custody and support, guardianship, divorce, legal separation, division of property, restraining orders and immigration. More specifically, Ms. Schell is one of the few attorneys who understands firsthand how to handle the complex matters of international family law.

Ms. Schell also has extensive experience handling immigration. She handles asylum cases, detention and removal defenses, appeals and motions to reopen, family petitions, fiancée visas, consular processing applications, labor certifications, business and investment visas, citizenship and naturalization, and employment visas. In addition, Ms. Schell provides legal advice to international business owners and executives seeking entrance into the U.S. market on labor, employment, and contract law. She serves as counsel to small- and mid-sized companies in New York.
